Hope everyone is having a lovely week so far! I knew once I started my blog up again I would have to feature my adorable top by Mi Golondrina. All of her garments are one-of-a-kind and hand-made in Mexico. The intricate detailing and originality of her shirts and dresses is why I love wearing them so much! For several years, I have loved seeing her collection grow and the new pieces that are added. She also has a beautiful home collection that I am dying to take advantage of when I redecorate my room (hopefully soon)!

I especially love this top for spring, because gingham is such a big hit this year. I have always loved gingham and I am so happy it is everywhere (YAY)! Now, I can wear it as much as my little heart desires! Ruby & Violet sure seem to love it too!

On size – I am typically a size small in her stuff. Sometimes an extra small, but I like my clothes to fit a little bigger because I have broad shoulders and don’t like to feel too confined.

Y’all have got to check her stuff out! Did I mention how flowy the shirts are? Perfect for a big dinner and very comfortable in the Houston heat! As a Texan, it is definitely an investment piece to have at least one (or 3) in your closet. 😉

I am headed to Austin this weekend and will for sure be sporting this outfit out and about! Hope everyone has an awesome FriYAY!!!

Kristen, or known by her friend's as "Byrdie," is an ambitious twenty-something currently living in Houston, TX. Before pursuing her Master's, she graduated from Texas Christian University with a Fashion Merchandising Degree. Since graduating she has had wonderful opportunities with Stanley Korshak, Academy Sports + Outdoors, and Francesca's. Her love of Fashion couples with her desire to help other's in need -- whether it's Fashion advice, or just a friend that needs help, she is always willing to lend a hand to others. In her spare time, she can most likely be found at any place that serves Mexican food, walking her maltese pups, or volunteering at the Houston Junior League. While she never thought writing was her "thing," she was encouraged to start writing her own blog when she interned for a blogger while at TCU. Kristen has a lot of things to say, and wants to spread her love of Fashion to friends and followers everywhere!
