Ruffle Overload

Happy Friday, guys! Who else is so happy it is almost the weekend?? Or basically the weekend because it’s Cinco De Mayo! I can’t wait! I have another exciting Texas filled weekend close to my favorite place – TCU! I can’t wait for Mexican food in the Fort!  Although, I still wish I could have Escalante’s queso today, my personal fave in H-town ;).

Ok, now, getting to the good stuff. Guyssss. I can’t get enough of these shoes! They are so comfy! I wore them all afternoon yesterday & they are literally the best. I did not want to take them off. In case you missed them in my last post, shop them right here. They go with SO many things and come in several different colors. I just love the ruffle detail and love that ruffles are back in! They were a big hit 2011-2012 & still had some ruffley shirts in my closet from then (shameful, I know). However, I am kind of a hoarder and love to keep some of my old favorite clothes on hand.

Also, this dress is so fun & is super easy to throw on & go! I love wearing it to work with Reva flats, and love that I can wear my shoes with it after work! This dress is also great for the weekend if you are going to brunch, shopping, or out and about, etc. Oh, did you also notice the adorable ruffle detail on the sleeves? That’s what I especially love about this dress. It just adds a little fun to a plain ol’ striped dress. It’s back in stock in all sizes and 40% off! Woohoo!

Here we go –

I kind of like this one better, hehe. This would be great for work/ or a shower/church!

Oh this is super cute & easy, too –

I would also suggest ordering a size down in Loft. Their clothes tend to run big. Also, be careful when you care for their items. Wash cold and hang to dry or dry clean! There is nothing I hate more than a new ruined favorite!

Lastly, I have to tell you about my bag! I had been eyeing this for a while. I bit the bullet and haven’t turned back since! It was a splurge, but I really like that it is discreet, or doesn’t scream designer. Not hating on an obnoxious designer bag, but, I like that this is still a really nice purse, yet is understated. Also, I love the equestrian look and is what I would like to call a “classic casual” bag. If there is such a thing. If not, I don’t care, I just made it up. 🙂 Shop it here. It comes in several colors and sizes! It also holds a lot for its size.

Happy shopping!

Love this whole outfit and that purse Kristen! I’ve been loving saddle bags. I have a brown one from sole society that’s similar!
