Rain, Rain, Go Away! The Best Rain Coat For Spring

Rain, rain, go away! Ever since January, I feel like it has rained almost every weekend! This can totally be a bummer especially when I was hoping to lay out around this time of year. The weather has also thrown of my blogging photo shoot schedule and outfit planning which is NO fun!

With all of these struggles with the rain (as if Houston needs anymore anyway) I have finally decided to invest in a fashionable raincoat! While I have a couple, none are exactly the cutest or the most fashionable of raincoats. Don’t get me wrong, I love my over-sized Men’s Columbia raincoat, but now that I am out of college, it really is time for a new one! #Adulting. I stumbled upon this raincoat from J.crew the other day and I am obsessed! There was luckily this pink color in stock and in my size just for me! I knew I had to take it home! It also comes in 2 other colors and runs large so I would size down.

ABOUT THE OUTFIT…

There are so many things I love about this jacket. The waist is cinched and can pull it in to make it more fitted or take it out if you have heavy layers underneath. Also, the sleeves unbutton and can make them as loose or tight as you please! I am bought the XS and I would be sure to size down! The XS is still a little big for me, but went ahead and bought in case I wear it with something bulkier in the future. This jacket also comes in navy and in a pretty white color. I have so much navy that I just had to opt for the pink! Just like I mentioned in my post with my favorite Spring formal dresses, Spring is one of my favorite seasons and was definitely feeling the pink this time!

I have my outfit shown below and have a couple of other adorable rain jackets picked out for you to shop as well! Picking out a fun raincoat sure makes me feel better about all this dreary weather we are having and I hope this brightens up your day, too!
