Fun & Fresh July Florals

July Florals Puff Sleeve Dress

Hi, friends!

I hope everyone has been hanging in there. It has been a tough few weeks, but mostly just going a little stir crazy! Things are slowly opening back up in Dallas and I am so glad but I am just ready for everything to go back to normal. I miss giving hugs, seeing my friends, and not feeling so strange after leaving the grocery store. I am hopeful and know this isn’t forever, but I do miss having some normalcy.

Amongst the insanity, Chris and I decided to get a puppy! Yes, we were one of those people who got a dog during quarantine but can you blame us? Her name is Teenie, and I shared a few photos in my latest post on my 4th of July Outfits. She is a Maltese and the SWEETEST puppy. She loves everyone and is so playful. I definitely haven’t gotten much done this month but I am so grateful and excited we have her at home with us! I look forward to sharing more of her with all of y’all.

I know going out and dressing up isn’t exactly the norm right now. However, I love to share outfits and pieces I find special and love to share them with all of you! I think if you really like something, you can make it work. This goes both for home and fashion pieces. Therefore, I want to keep my content fresh and share with all of you what inspires me.

The past few weeks I have found a few floral pieces that I absolutely love and know classic florals never go out of style. A fun puff sleeve dress, an asymmetrical skirt, and a casual dress have been some of the favorites that I have found and wanted to share why I love each piece so much!

I wore this dress for mine and Chris’s wedding anniversary earlier this month! I love that it is pink and the sleeves are so fun. I had to have this dress for the sleeves. Be sure to read my post on more fun sleeves for you to shop. You can shop for my dress and accessories below.

I finally got out of the house and went shopping this past month and knew I had to have this skirt the moment I saw it! I get so much use out of my skirts that I wear to work and can easily transition them into date night looks. This skirt would look so cute also styled with a silk blouse and blazer but this is how I am currently styling it for a hot Texas summer!

This is a dress I had featured in one of my outfit options for the 4th of July! I love that it is a little bit more fitted and has a fun ruching detail on the sleeve. It also comes in a few other prints and is a great price. I love it dressed up styled with wedges or dressed down with sneakers and a denim jacket for an easy look.
